On November 19, Nikolay Rusanov, a representative of iRidium mobile, spoke at Slush conference in Finland, the largest conference for startups in Russia and Northern Europe in the field of technology and design. The goal of the event was to bring into contact interesting, fast-developing projects, leading investors and media from all over the world.
Here we present a photo report from this event, a video of the presentation and Nikolay’s comments on what was happening at Slush:
What was it? It was a big gathering of investors, today’s startups and yesterday’s startups that have already turned into multi-million businesses. Founders and managers of the most rapidly growing companies in the world shared their success stories on 4 big stages. All free spaces were filled with mini-stands of various startups presenting everything from computer games to cloud services. And among attendees were government officials from Russia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden and even China.
What was it for? It was held to get interested potential clients, investors, media and just important people, to find new partners, to see who of today’s new businessmen would be the next Jobs or Zuckerberg. There were about 10 thousand people at the event who paid 400 euro for a standard and 800 euro for an investor ticket. It shows a great interest for the conference.
Nikolay Rusanov’s comments, “Our company presented the project twice. The first time was on a big scene in front of 3000 people. And the second one was at the evening VIP party. The presentations were successful. The main thing for us was to present our project to the wide range of people. And I believe we plan to participate in Slush next year again!”
